Sometimes I'm the one who needs a time out

Interview with Author Terry John Barto and peak at his book Nickerbacher The Funniest Dragon!

Back when I started my blog I had the pleasure of reviewing the children s book  Gollywood Here I come. I loved it! I also loved corresponding with the author Terry Barto. He is a down to earth awesome guy with a big heart. When I heard that he had another book coming out in February of 2015 about a Dragon I marked it on my calendar to email him because I could not wait to get my hands on that book! I also thought it would be cool to do a Q& A with Terry for my blog. I was so anxious to get my hands on Nickerbacher the Funniest Dragon that Terry was awesome enough to send me a PDF file of it! I promise it was as awesome as I expected!

Disney Publishing sent me this whimsical children’s book, Daddy’s back to school Shopping Adventure. It’s the story of two kids taking dad for all its worth once mom is away. Jack and Jenny are told repeatedly that they must stick to the list when it comes to getting school supplies and all was going well until mom left dad and the kids alone suddenly the cart was filled to the brim with items that were not  on the list. In the end Mom comes back and all the fantastically awesome not needed items that were missing from the list are put back but Jake and Jenny have a surprise for dad in the end.. hint… it wasn’t on the list. Daddy’s Back-To-School shopping Adventure is set to be released June 16th 2015, about the time that Mom and Dad gets to starting thinking about school shopping. This is a fun and wonderful book to read. The illustrations by Abby Carter are fantastic! Once released you will be able to find it on Amazon Here. In the meantime take a look and see what Disney Publishing currently has out. To learn more about Alan Lawrence Sitomer check out his website!

I was sent a copy of the children’s book Templeton Gets His Wish by Greg Pizzoli by Disney publishing to review.

This is a cute little story about a Cat named Templeton who is tired of his family. Tired of his Mom and Dad bossing him around and sick of his sibling stealing his toys. He does what every kitten in that situation must do. Break into the piggy bank and order a magic diamond and wish them away! After a little while of getting to do as he wants he finds that night time is lonely and that bath time is in fact pretty important.

Templeton Gets His Wish is wonderful awesome retro style illustrations with the lesson of watch what you wish for and life isn’t so fun without your family.  This will be a great book to snuggle up to and read with your kiddo. It will be released for sale on May 5th 2015!

You will be able to find it Here on Amazon when its available. In the meantime check out Disney Publishing and see what other fantastic books that they have out!  Learn more about the author Greg Pizzoli here!
