I was sent The Realism Challenge through blogging for books to review.

Using watercolors and colored pencils the author and artist Mark Crilley will guide you step by step through the process of making recreations of everday items. As you go through the book beginning to end it gets more and more challenging, building each lesson off of the previous one.

This book is fantastic if you already have drawing skills, if you dont this book is not for you as I feel you will be discouraged (as I am).

Ive been trying to get into watercolors and drawing and was hoping that this book would help with this skill, however this book is really more about taking your skills and helping push them further.

This book sells on Amazon for $10.37. Although the book is challenging (as the title promises) it is a truly beautiful book.
